Abstract
This article analyses the creative contribution of G. F. Voronoy’s mathematic school to development of modern, radically different math branches through the prism of achievements of his students and followers. It is noted that G. F. Voronoy’s broadmindedness, his feeling of the perspective, originality of ideas and independent judgment were manifested not only through hi sprofessional activities but through his private life, through formation of worldview positions among persons close to him. It highlights examples characterizing G. F. Voronoy’s phenomena as a teacher, lecturer, person and a citizen.
